Current Opportunities

The RMH Group is looking for a mid/senior level low voltage designer with hands-on design in the building systems industry. Design experience ideally includes device and cabling for IT for healthcare buildings, data centers, commercial buildings, and other high-tech facilities. A/V, security and access controls, and fire alarm experience is a plus. Experience with project management, business development, leading a team, and with Revit and AutoCAD is preferred. RCDD certification is required. A PE is a plus.

The RMH Group is looking for a Mechanical Engineer Project Manager. Ten years of design experience in the building systems industry is preferred. Design experience ideally would include knowledge of mission critical projects. Responsible for technical performance as well as possess diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices. Ability to apply techniques, modifications and theories and serve as a technical liaison as well as play an important role in mentoring less experienced team members. This position will report to the Mission Critical Market Leader.

The Mechanical Engineer Project Manager is key in maintaining positive, team-focused relationships throughout the organization. Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Design mechanical systems for commercial and institutional buildings (project size will vary based upon experience) 
  • Project manager for mechanical and electrical projects (project size will vary based upon experience)
  • Takes ownership of all aspects related to project
  • Responsible for small proposals and presentations to clients
  • Responsible for producing change orders in regards to out of scope work
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with clients for the firm
  • Resolves payment issues with clients
  • Forecasts staffing needs for projects
  • Plans and schedules project production coordinating with lead engineers
  • Tracks and monitors budget, schedules and task lists
  • Coordinates with internal team members such as engineers, admins, drafters
  • Coordinates with external team members such as owners, architects, sub consultants
  • Participates and/or leads meetings with clients/owners

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. 
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of Colorado required
  • Demonstrated supervisory/leadership skills
  • Prefer 10 years of experience in the MEP industry
  • Prefer three years project management experience in the MEP industry

A salary range of $80,000 – $130,000 takes into account experience, knowledge skills and the individual abilities of the applicant.
