UCHealth Harmony Emergency Department

University of Colorado Health

Fort Collins, Colorado

To meet northern Colorado’s growing demand for 24/7 emergency, pharmacy, and laboratory services, UCHealth constructed the free-standing Harmony Emergency Department in Fort Collins, Colorado. The 17,400 SF facility features the only 24-hour pharmacy and lab in southern Fort Collins, which provides a great benefit to patients and their families. In addition, the facility includes 12 spacious patient rooms, resuscitation and isolation rooms, and a diagnostic imaging department that offers CT, X-ray, and ultrasound services. The Harmony Emergency Department is also the second facility in northern Colorado to house UCHealth’s Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner/Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner (SANE/SAFE) program, which employs nurses specially trained to care for sexual assault victims and to collect forensic evidence. Every detail of the new facility was thoughtfully designed to offer ease of access, comfort, short wait time, and high-quality care.

The RMH Group designed the HVAC, plumbing, power, and interior and exterior lighting for the new facility.
