RMH utilized eQUEST energy modeling software to analyze how different upgrades could impact the buildings’ performance. Recommended upgrades included:
    • Replacing condensing units in the HVAC system
    • Replacing furnaces and domestic hot water heaters throughout the campus
    • Replacing traditional water fixtures with low-flow fixtures
    • Replacing standard water closets with dual-flush water closets
    • Replacing old, inefficient light bulbs with compact fluorescents
    • Installing occupancy sensors with on/off lighting control
    When implemented, these upgrades are anticipated to save the client $70,000 per year.
